Samba: GPO to disable Windows games

Create a new GPO

  1. Go to GPO and click edit
  2. User Configuration -> Policies -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings
  3. Right click Software Restriction Policies -> New Software Restriction Policies
  4. Click Additional Rules and second click window
  5. Select New Hash Rule
  6. Click browse and enter the UNC of the location of the program you wish to block. For example; c:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Chess\Chess.exe
